Yakuza 4's map raises it to a 6/10 just by itself. It had so much character and the separate stories each provided a different look into Kamurocho none of the prior titles have come close to replicating. I think the closest was probably Judgement but it still wasn't perfect.

Looking back on my rankings, I think the fact I played in release order had a big effect on how tolerant I was for certain titles.
