based on a lot of otomos i know from elsewhere, i get the feeling it's an unfortunate but inevitable mix of her long history, defensiveness about her being EU, and more recently defensiveness over her subs and video counts (i really really wish people cared less about those).
throw in a dash of her having trouble sharing her earnest feelings to chat, and you get all kinds of shizos, especially in an environment like /here/ where that thrives
