I never even knew you were supposed to lose. Somehow when I first played it as a kid I managed to get up 2-3 points in the first half and absolutely dominated once Jecht Shot was available. I don't remember doing anything cheesy either, just playing the fundamentals.

I just started a nostalgiafag replay with the Steam version. I'll see if I can replicate 8 year old Anon's blitz skills.
