Just finished the event. I would be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy it, but I only enjoyed it because I was constantly surprised at how bad it continued to get. The average quality of each game quickly descended to mobile-cash-grab tier and then even lower to shit-I-could-put-together-in-thirty-minutes tier. Genuinely impressive.
I tend to only stick to playing a few specific games, and if it weren't for events like this that force me to exit my bubble, I would not have realized how fucked this site really is.

It's incredible how many of these games had donation boards with quadruple or quintuple digits. I think it's impossible to understand the type of people who would voluntarily donate any money towards something like picrel. I only hope that I'll never meet them.
