Monark was good, and frankly better and more interesting than its SMT inspirations. It’s only major sin is a noticeable low budget seen in its reuse of assets. But it escapes relatively unscathed compared to the much jankier looking Caligula Effect or Reynatis from the same publisher.
Just don’t tell the soituber video essayists. They’ll jump on it like flies. It’s the kinda game you gotta smuggle under the table so they don’t see.
