It is a cool concept that gets completely wasted. If you're going to make it all about Gods, why stick to the trite 'medieval jrpg city' aesthetic? Go for bronze age city state! Greek polis! I would even take Rome.

And the designs for the gods are so boring. Look at this 'Hestia'. She has no warmth incorporated into her design whatsoever. If I were writing this I'd be slobbering all over designing characters with connections to their symbols and stories.
