There was this show in Canada. It was a terrible fucking show, I tell ya. It was called "The Red Green Show" and it was about a boomer named Red Green. He was like a handyman, but he was also retarded. So the whole schtick was that everything he did was dumb as fuck and inefficient, but did work. For a good example, one bit involved him using a screw driver. First he screws in some screws and then gets to a part where he needs to hammer some nails. And he goes off about how a screwdriver can be a hammer if you look at it the right way. Then he starts using the screw driver handle to hammer in the nails. That was the joke. I feel like the guys who goon to fishtank are like the red green of jerking off. Your hammering nails with a screwdriver handle. It might not be the standard tool for the job but by god the gooners get it done and you have got to respect their commitment and fortitude.
