One mod won't hurt anything, sure. But what happens when you tolerate it and then there's another, and then another, and another, and you started to get a weird community of deranged gooners around such mods shitting things up for your whole site? Communties you already know exist elsewhere? It's the gays in the privacy of their own bedroom vs the gays marching down the street wearing a suit made out of dildos and spraying fake jizz from firehoses disrupting the whole community sort of distinction. They don't want their platform becoming a pride parade. They don't want a community where new users coming into it have from their beginnings been lead to believe walking around on all 4s like a dog in bondage gear is normal and permissible behavior.
