When USF4 came out, we all played it like 2 or 3 times before they all sorta said "man I'm kinda tired of SF4 and I don't wanna bother practising anymore if SFV is gonna be out in a month or two, lets get back at it when SFV launches"

And then they all hated SFV and comfy fighting games night with the bros died. A few stuck around but everyone started moving to different games, and eventually the only ones still playing fighting games were all playing a different game and no one wanted to play anyone else's game. One of us started playing Guilty Gear, another Tekken, another got into anime poverty fighters, and I stuck it out with Street Fighter and kept playing SFV alone.
