There are plenty of stories that get their stories changed in their adaptation in mangas, webtoons, manhwas, etc. But most of the time they usually get butchered and never recover*Cough*Main Heroines*Cough*. I'm just saying that the turnaround that Extra's Academy made was impressive.
Like reading the first couple chapters in the webnovel, you immediately got the info that Ed was level-headed guy with survival skills from being in the military in his previous life. But the manhwa made the egregious change to ignore all of that and turn him into a typical, sniveling, isekai protagonist in the first doezen chapters as seen here >>279678735
So them bouncing back from that and returning to faithfully adapting the novel for the rest of the manhwa is honestly worthy of praise. The only egregious change being that Adele survived but they managed to make it work.
