You know, of all the healthcare facilities I visit, the hospices are my favorite. They all have a very relaxed atmosphere to them. Even the shitty ones are tucked away in nice old neighborhoods with a lot of trees and woodland creatures around. I guess this is because their is no stress about the outcome. If you're in a place like that it means you will die in a couple months at most, all preventative measures have been tried and failed and this is end of line. Someone this reality makes the whole place very cozy. On the other hand, the worst and most depressing are government run nursing homes. Misery and stress levels very high.
