Yeah, I noticed all the gem stuff and that kind of killed the idea of continuing to be a completionist in the game. If this were years ago, I wouldn't think twice about buying gems and throwing them into the dorm. But I feel hesitant about spending now when there's still so many things that I'm holding out for that might not come. Chapter 16 getting added, a morale rework, auto retire feature, a better system for quick equipping gear, among other little things I've been hoping for. I kind of get that most, if not all of those things will never happen though, so I'll just continue loving my botes and doing my best. Maybe get a pleasant surprise if at least one of them does come.
