Finally something who gets it, they had two choices, either make the region a fantasy version of america without any black culture and make the west mad and Asia would be happy, or make a full blown american african region with black people and all of the modern american culture, it was a simple choice
Yet mihoyo managed to summon a 3rd choice out of nowhere where they made a middle ground between those two so we got natlan, china and japan don't like it because they don't like black culture and america and the west don't like it because is racist
They managed to fuck both sides at the same time, pretty impressive if you ask me, and as i said the funniest thing is that they lost more western players than chinese and japanese.
