You do not want that. The game would barely be "different" in a good way, it just means MORE archetypes can end on a degenerate, nasty abomination of a board that shouldn't exist, just see Pic related it says TURN 2, glad beast summoned every single boss monster to kick off the duel.
That's such an annoying problem. Handtraps kill more fair and fun low-powered decks, but there's some random turbobroken decks also kept in check by them, arguably the reason handtraps were created to begin with.
The timeline goes like this.
>Decks that play forever off a wonder 1 card starter start appearing and building omniboards
>An entire family of handtraps has to be created to stop those
>As powercreep marches on, the new strong decks are the ones capable of playing through a couple of handtraps
>More handtraps are created
>The current meta decks are the ones that can completely ignore single handtraps and still end on a couple of boss monsters (if not all of them, if you handtrapped the wrong thing)
>Droll has to be created to act like an outright infinite Ash because even if you could activate all 3 Ashes in one turn, some enemies have infinite drawing power
You do NOT want to see how Droll gets power crept (if it didn't already, I'm counting on it stopping my enemies since I just ordered the playset but I might be in for a nasty surprise)
