It's not Indian success people are afraid of, I mean like running water and flushing toilets and a lack of starvation and famine and basic freedom from caste system inbreeding epigenetics and genetics are all very good things to have for the last 2-10,000 years.
It will take over 500 generations of Indians to get rid of the caste system's genetic legacy and everyone hates them across the planet because they are unbreedable, and all of their colonies always end up recreating the same cate system they're all trying to escape because they're so inbred/enslaved. It's actually sad, not pathos or empathy, just: sad.
Additionally, and obviously: their success means that your resources have gone to stuff their mouths and fill their bellies.
