Answer me this. Which old gods, Greeks, Celts, Visigoths, Roman gods in Gaul or Hispanic land?
If the old gods are truly dead, then they were not real gods, in comparison Christ is The One Living God.
And if we should pray for new gods to appear, what guarantee we have they will not die again? If they can die then we are better not praising any gods.
But if God is inmortal and if God can defeat death, now that's a God I can believe in.
