Its pretty consistent in that aspect so far - he can't follow Saber's movement, he just diverts/blocks fatal strikes into wounds through the chuuni intuition/feeling approaching death
Projection is a bit hax with giving him the skills of the user but eh, its well explained so I don't mind.
Issue is that he can't pull off projection properly at this time and jobs to Kuzuki, fighting a servant for either of them is so insane they might aswell double suicide and save the time. Worse yet the time could be spent actually talking about the measures available to them (clock tower, burial agency), but nah.
