I'm not saying that all NPCs should share all animations, but... Would it hurt the game if they shared some of them? Animations can be adjusted to suit different skeletons, Coco could have her cute idle animation, and she could also have some generic animations like scratching her head, or god forbid, turning to look at player as she talks.
Characters looking at each other when talking annoys me unreasonably.
ZZZ models are most unique out of all Mihoyo games, but that is not excuse to having such lackluster presentation when it comes to unvoiced scenes. They chose to make these unique models, they should also animate them properly.

Yeah, it feels like with Hoyo games the more detailed the character models get, less weight they put into animations (outside the big story scenes). I just wish the effort was spread equally.
