Contemporary warfare is so boring and pointless. A bunch of worthless targets getting missiled that will just be rebuilt in a few months anyways after the inevitable ceasefire happens a week or two after "the start of hostilities" and the whole "war" consists of nothing of note actually happening or anything changing but both sides need to pretend like there was a point to the nonsense and that they went through some white knuckle negotiations to "stop a wider war" when in reality everyone had run out of munitions and no one has the balls to commit ground forces so all sides just give up and go back to endless cold war saber rattling until they have enough missiles stockpiled for another 10 day barrage where nothing truly important gets hit and they go through another round of fake and gay negotiations.
