Jean is an extremely nice girl with a twinge of teenage bitch deep down but because she is 100% of the Phoenix Force, her concept of healing shit is to burn everything down and start over with a new god dang species. Cosmic pillars of creations are not 'things' that can easily be wielded and everytime Jean needed to use Phoenix power, she utterly and completely obliterated whatever target she unleashed it on.
