I see, it's what I'd imagined. My setting is kinda weird as fuck and I'm sure most people wouldn't put up with it so I'd imagine most people would want something more setting agnostic

The gist is that it's PF2E but there are no classes and you build both a pilot and a mech sheet, which are based on character sheets. Pilots level up, gain feats and train skills. Mechs are built out of parts (Head/Arms/Chest/Legs) that define their speed, feats, stats, HP and so on, and they have weapons and equipment. Pilots can use two types of cockpits: One lets you use the feats and weapon trainings that the *pilot* has, while the other lets you use the one that the mech gains from parts. This lets you build either an "utility/roleplay" pilot or a martial combat pilot (which is useful as the pilot is also able to fight on its own, and the setting has magic bullshit that lets people become a bit more powerful than default). The game also uses a more manageable version of the MAP called recoil with different levels
The combat is mostly mechs vs monsters, and the game revolves around a "Boost" free action and a G-Force meter mechanic. Feats, special Actions and Boost all increase your G-Force, and, after a threshold, you need to roll flat or become G-LOC'd, which is a death sentence. You lose G-Force based on what you did last round, and using actions that increase your G-Force makes it go down slower. And, if you hit the G cap, you black out immediately
Boost is pretty simple: it's a free action you can use multiple times in your turn that gives you a good bit of G's, but, it lets you move, gives you an AC bonus, and gives you an extra strike. That's basically it.
It completely mindbreaks players I playtested with every single time because it's super fucking fun. It's like a fighting game combo extender. They really liked the bet of either playing it safe or risking Gs with a huge play
