This setup is jank as fuck but meets my needs. Hardware Plex transcoding support from a modern intel chip in the laptop. Laptop screen is broken (there's some kind of hardware power fault common to this model) so it's removed and an external screen is being used. 4 x USB3 hard drives (2x18Tb and 2x4Tb) store content. System runs Plex, qBittorrent, Jackett and Sonarr. Network is one of those USB3 to ethernet adapters.
Not sure what the power draw is but it's not a lot.
