When noone can afford to rent because wages have plummeted and everyone is destitute, it'll be your problem too. This is going to affect everyone regardless of if they personally lose their job or not. I have never "dunked" on anyone for losing their job

etc is very crass and rude, not to mention short sighted. When people get mass layed off in one industry they will jump to another and that drives down wages, or they stop being able to work and end up on gibs, paid for by those who still have jobs.
