Yeah, it's largely because this is a college town and it's always bringing in freshmen. Moscow is also extremely Democrat compared to the rest of the state.

Yeah, it's been happening since about 2018 to a large degree. If I didn't buy a house here in 2020, I wouldn't be able to do it this housing market because everything has basically doubled in price if you want to live in town.

Desolate? I actually love how small and peaceful this area is, and beautiful. It's a very idyllic place to live in a lot of ways.
