wind blowing through the trees and the sun was shining down on us.

My mother was smiling, and she was holding my hand.

I could feel the warmth of her hand in mine, and I knew that she was happy.


I blinked, and the image was gone.

But in that instant, I knew what I had to do.

I turned to Redman and took her hand.

“Marry me,” I said.

She looked at me, and I could see the surprise in her eyes.

But then she smiled, and I knew that she understood.

“Yes,” she said, “I will.”

And so we were married, and we have been married for nearly thirty years now.

We have two beautiful daughters, and they are the light of our lives.

I am a better man because of Redman, and I am grateful for her every day.
