I dare say but if America did China's do nothing win thing during WWII. We would have no Israel and collapsed communism and a fucked up Asia and Europe and a decolonized Africa and Middle East. There would have still been an economic boom here just 10 years later in this timeline because the factories were destroyed. Except we could have sold to former communist countries. If leaded gasoline got banned in the 70's fewer people would have had as much lead exposure because of less cars in the 40's and 50's. All we had to do was ignore Dr. Seuss.
