Examples are given in image, the genre is known. For examples of the genre I'd recommend:

Gandahar, Conan the Barbarian, The Barbarians, Star Chaser: The Legend of Orin, Masters of the Universe, He-Man (80s or 2002), She-Ra (80s), Red Sonja, Thundarr the Barbarian, The Beast Master (the first movie), The Herculoids, Willow (great example of a film that concentrates on Transmutation style magic, quite a gem if you like playing a Transmutation Wizard in D&D), Black Star, The Sword and the Sorcerer, Fire and Ice, particular Heavy Metal animations, Conquest (I wish I'd remembered to put a Bow artifact that fires energy arrows), The Last Unicorn, , The Black Cauldron, Krull, The Dark Crystal, and many more. In addition to live action and animated movies and series, there's also a great range of Pulp Fantasy, Sword & Sorcery, and Planetary Romance books. Really, there's too much to list.

I recommend diving in, and never coming back up. There's a near endless amount to explore built up over the decades, and my little list of examples can't even remotely do the breadth and depth of it justice.

Please, enjoy yourself.

I did start making a Last Itima CYOA that took place in the outer worlds, but I decided to just let it be. The concept resulted in an ending that was too specific, no real nuance - the destruction of the stones, the ending of the Maker's perfect world, and the player becoming Last Itima at full power. The destruction of the stones, however, freed Second and First Itima. Second Itima would have been one of you, but First came from a much greater version of the stone, they've been imprisoned so long they've likely gone made, and they'd turned dictatorial and malevolent long before their imprisonment.

It's not really a CYOA. It's a story. So I put it aside, since the aim was to make a CYOA.
