That's a mature take.
I have another take as well: had Fleetway have continued past the Adventure arc, we would have seen a bigger battle for Western Sonic influence/dominance between the Archie and Fleetway staff. Maybe the Archie reboot would have been involved incorporating/merging the Fleetway canon in some way. Who knows.
