Be cool, be yourself. It's the standard advice for a reason, and it's not as hard as it sounds. Especially given the setting. "Be cool" - have some drinks on hand already, reference an obscure series that somebody likes, keep a positive outlook. "Be yourself" - avoid second guessing and make sure it's sincere. Oh and also give people the impression you're interested. Stand users attract other stand users
