Lol exactly. I've generally been against pirating cuz I know if i was just some pion in a company id want my pay, but its def reaching a breaking point.... thankfully for me i mostly play old games, not super impressed by most stuff thats came out in the last decade.
Defo. My only problem is indie is usually pretty unambitious. I remember reallllllly liking Stardew and Dusk but I miss the late 90's and early 2000's where we had Romero type characters and small but successful companies like early Bungie. My pipe dream is to make a "Scrolls-like" pirate-fantasy rpg with a single A team lol
