The game does warn you several times that opening the safe will break any balance. I haven't gone for it but I'm still hanging on pretty well. Trying to grind for levels is a bad idea with the limited resources you have for healing.
Somehow I haven't ran into the battle time limit yet, but I'm most interested in the girl horny/orgasm animations and actively fuck them instead of defending.
I never played Mami but I think this one's pretty on par with the Guru Guru game, but that might just be me thinking that getting a Gaki no Tsukai parody is awesome.
Might be kind of short though, not sure. I'm at the gundam loli twins fight and it feels like I'm already nearing the end, but there's not really telling if they'll pull another long event like the training camp again.
