Republicans are gonna get absolutely killed in the midterms if Trump doesn't backpedal on this hard. Despite all the astroturfing on this site and others, a war with Iran remains almost universally unpopular with everyone on both sides of the political aisle.

He's hinting we will this week. It's only a matter of time before a U.S. servicemember deployed to Israel is killed/injured in attacks and then they'll go full tilt with a bombing run on Iran which, if unsuccessful, will likely lead to a draft being implemented to facilitate a long-term invasion.
