why is there a warning about THIS of all things but having somebody's fucking severed head as your familiar is totally okay, or all the Undead companion archetypes which can include using an actual dead person crawling on all fours as a mount, or just "regular" zombies and ghosts used as servants? or a construct companion given Miracle Gears so it's sapient and intelligent and capable of language yet still commanded to explode itself to blow up orcs. Or eidolons which despite being intelligent and sapient beings can be shut up and dismissed at-will by the summoner, and who are forced to share any wounds inflicted on their master (who can also be someone binding them unwillingly, including demons and other outsiders unhappy with the arrangement or trying to corrupt you....)

Hirelings should be the least controversial meat shields in a game like D&D, they're literally just dudes doing a job.....why is extraplanar slavery and necromancy or literally growing a sentient-but-biologically-incapable-of-treachery homunculus servant taken as a granted totally fine, but "hey man, your job is to stab the guys I tell you to stab" is a trigger warning?
