the amount of... cultural relevance? WoW lost since BfA has been staggering

even if people thought BfA was a shit expansion, it was still routinely talked about and WoW was one of the big-time PC games around. You had dozens of news articles on it from mainstream journoshit sites and normies still had a pulse on WoW. 5+ /v/ threads daily, easily. Nowadays since the SL colossal flop and DF and TWW being troon fanfiction, nobody but the most hardcore of players and hales cares.

WoW has shrunk to a small-time game. I have no doubt it still makes profit for Blizzard and gives them some juicy money from whales, but the cultural relevance of WoW is finished. You even wonder if Classic's 2019 launch was a release valve for people's latent remaining interest in the game who weren't playing retail but were in the wings waiting for something to happen that suited their tastes. I think those people are long gone, too.

Nowadays even the cosplayers are butt ugly. They can't even get hot girls anymore. Very telling.
