“Bosses are immune to status” doesn’t really apply to Elden Ring at all, a few are, like Stone Gargoyles, and Elden Beast, but nearly every boss is vunrable to most statuses. Even ones that seem like mistakes, such as pic-related being bleedable, very resistant, but not immune, is immune to frost though, because he’s from Space and enjoys the cold.
Then there’s Bloodborne, where only enemy actually IMMUNE to statuses was Moon Presance, but most bosses had 999 resist to every status, which made it nearly impossible to proc even if you were deliberately trying, since “good” status build up was like 30 per hit, bosses just died before first proc. But you could technically poison every boss in the game except Moon Presance.
