I take pleasure in walking past these expensive-emote town idlers without so much as a glance.
One time, I got into a party with one of them. It was just a roulette, but we had a cutscener so we were waiting in the loading cage while he watched it. During that time, this whale did his fancy figurine emote. Meanwhile, to his direct left, some sprout started doing the moogle dance. Just for fun, I said "whoa, cute emote! where's that from?" and of course the whale jumps to explain that his emote is *exclusive* and *expensive* and I swear to god my face was breaking in real life from how wide my grin was as I typed "not yours, the sprout's dance"
