I would argue that this is the fat layer on the belly that is being burned as we speak. There is nothing dire about it. Sure, some people will get poor, but it will have little to no impact on SMO. There were countries in a full blown war pulling men into meat gridner left and right, and the states would still manage to function. You would have to halve their budget (somehow) in order for russians to experiance severe austerity.
