This is literally what everyone said the issue with SF6 was in seasons 1 and 2, that top 8s were too random in terms of final placings and Japanese players weren't bothering to travel so tournaments weren't legitimate competitions
Now that we have that the goalposts suddenly shift and 5 of 8 players being high level JP pros (in the Dominican republic of all places) isn't good enough?
