that's not it at all, and it's not some new backstory it's her Treasure plot.
Frima is the ace nikke of Cafe Sweetie/Tetra and literally one of the strongest in the Ark, the reason she's lethargic is because in the past she was very dilligent and hard working and planned out her missions but even if successful everyone but her would end up hurt/dead. As she started caring less and planning/preparing less and winging things, her success rate rose and people around her stopped dying. Now she just sleeps when not slaughtering raptures out of fear she'll make things worse and get the people around her hurt again.

This is all from her Treasure plot so its nice to see it acknowledged in an event
