yep. Halperin mentioned it and I checked it out. Many seem to have known, at least somewhat, and seem to have know there would be a symbolic retaliation with no further escalation. Makes me wonder about how the op sec worked. They wanted people to know it was coming, but also to reassure them. So I wonder, when the journalists and influences were read in, how much they were told without jeopardising the whole thing.

Seems like a big risk to give of these journalists some knowledge and expect them all to keep quiet about the performative aspects of the mission. I mean they even hinted at it, somewhat, with a wink and a nod. That's actually what tipped me off.
