Except that's not accurate. During the summer months, the days are longer. South America isn't halfway through its night like in this image while australia's at midday, it's just reached sunset.

Look at picrel, this is all the directions you would have to look to view the same sunset, all the same compass directions however. This is fundamentally incompatible with reality. You cannot hope to describe how this works, and haven't ever even tried.
