I started reading Ichi last night. Why did none of you people who constantly shill this manga in these threads ever mention that it’s fundamentally a magical girl/mahō shōjo series with a male protagonist? No wonder it’s so popular with the female demographic. Anyway, it’s surprisingly entertaining so far. Lovely art, charming characters, and a decent setting. It certainly has more personality than most of what’s currently serializing in the magazine.
