So they were just part of some folklore writings, but turned into marketable assets. Because i really don't see why suddenly we get them. I am not a skip reader, but i did not read every single note and book I found and took notes from them, and i forgot most of it, the only thing that stays in my memory is upside down statue, and dains being khanerian and abyss mages wanting to make some kind of a weapon or tool for something i don't remember. I just thought Celestia are not in fact gods, but just more capable people, false gods, and fatui know or believe that's the case. You know, it being more grounded and bit less... creationism magics. And i thought the world was first 100% dragons.
