The meme for the thread is very misleading. Being and becoming exist simultaneously and are not mutually exclusive. It is good to be both. You must be to become, and become to be. Anything is lopsided and misguided. And frankly you simply do have no choice in the matter: you are forced to be both. Whether you realize this or not is something else entirely. But the fact itself does not change.
