It's stunning to see the results of prolonged imperial American rule. There is increasingly not even an attempt at pretending that there is any remaining objectivity in international politics or that America's allies are anything other than varying degrees of indentured vassals. Europe used to give the impression that they had a spine or their own separate perspective on the world, now it all looks more like just following the party line of the global western uni-party.
