Most of the characters in Deltarune are what household items turn into when exposed to the dark world. Tenna is basically the neglected old TV of the main character who desperately attempts to keep them in the dark world with him by putting the main party into a game show so they can have fun together forever. Also while he is damaged by the knight at the end of his chapter causing his real body to break they do repair him and give him to someone who will appreciate him.
