He's not actually a fan of these random nerdy series he references. Realize this is another thing he's lied about. He tried to say the main character in Blade Runner is named "Bladerunner". Then the thing with hiring someone to play video games for him. Likewise it's reasonable to think he never watched Evangelion either.
