I spent ages 14-25 alternating between full-time work and university studies. Everything before that is largely irrelevant to anyone who isn't a psychologist. If you had the chance to "waste your youth" then you were clearly born into an extremely privileged lifestyle to begin with. I work and gain education because the alternative is literally death.
