With the benefit of hindsight, I always wondered what a Rainbow Rocks movie would have been if Flash Sentry had a significantly larger role in it. >The Dazzlings show up, initiate the Battle of the Bands
>Sunset suggests reaching out to Twilight
>Twilight crosses over and reconnects with Flash Sentry
>Twilight suggests Flash be the one to fight against the Dazzlings, the other girls agree
>Flash starts out solo and is so good that the Dazzlings try to sink their nails into him
>It almost works because of how strong their magic is getting, but Twilight's having none of it
>Flash and Twilight perform together with her singing, it's great, but the Dazzlings get stronger
>After each performance it looks like Flash is going to fail, but another Mane 7 joins the band
>It goes from being just Flash to Flash and everyone except Sunset
>The Dazzlings decide to split Sunset from her friends and put her down when cornering her
>The other girls and Flash encourage Sunset to join, but she's too self-conscious to accept
>When the final battle happens, the girls are defeated and Flash gets possessed

>the girls cheer for her, but Sunset really wants to apologize to Flash
>he accepts it unconditionally, but is confused why she wasn't the band lead in the first place
>when Twilight asks what he means, Flash hands Sunset his guitar
>"I helped her learn to play the guitar when she first got here. See, watch..."
>Sunset shreds the guitar, much to the shock of everyone present
>Embarrassed, Sunset shares, "It was mainly practice to learn how to use fingers since, y'know"
>but after a beat, she whispers, "Though it was nice to have some alone time with..."
