Words exist to convey, using complicated words is not a way to filter out your expression or make your sound smart, it's just a way to make your expression clearer in it's contents. This not only feels like something a readlet would say but something a specifically american readler would say. I urge you to gobble together a 4th grade presentation poster on dolphins, read a Wikipedia page on dolphins and later on 6 full on specialist books on the inner workings of dolphins alongside studies both in the wild and in captivity and then say the little poster makes one just as informed on the subject as anything else. Complicated subjects require tons of words, some even require full blown numbers and truth functions.
